Quasithanatology is book about the study of near-death experiences. It draws inspiration from the concept of being on the brink of death, as well as the feeling of having limited time and fading away. The design choices call back to traditional designs related to death, such as gravestones, eulogies, and obituaries. The book draws its source material from the podcast episode “Quasithantaology with Dr. Bruce Greyson“ from Ologies by Alie Ward. The podcast transcript is paired with photography by Alix Marie and David Wei, which are intended represent the surreal, out-of-body feeling of near-death experiences as well as the interruption to normal life that they present, respectively.

Physical book is wirebound, 7 x 9.5 in. Has a vellum cover and must be unwrapped from a taped black bag, mirroring a body bag.
